Two days.Worry passing Chad’s mind. Giovanni hadn’t shown yet but given his past methods, he was probably waiting and biding his time for that perfect moment when he thought their guards would be down.

Then again, something had gotten to him. Yes Giovanni was depraved but insane? Could that have been just an act to bring out information and HE Was played. Either way, Chad was sure that Giovanni knew where Seren was now and he couldn’t leave her unprotected.

She was innocent in all of this. Every time he looked at her, his heart cringed because he felt horrible that her mind had slipped into this state that it was in. Part of it was cute though. It definitely had it’s moments.

There was bath time last night which was an adventure because she didn’t want to take a bath. So she ran through the entire house, Naked. Seren was running from James who was trying to convince her to bathe.

Her moments came in spurts. Another example he could think of was dinner last night. She didn’t want to eat at the table. She didn’t think she was supposed to. So she slipped to the floor and got on her hands and knees. It took James picking her up into his lap and feeding her to get her to..eat and..she was half naked to boot.

An over sized T-shirt was all that Diana and James could Manage. It took major convincing on that one.

“Seren..”

So many worries and all of them were about Seren. Even the dangerous ones that included the worry of where Giovanni was. Maybe this was his plan the whole time. Chad didn’t know any more.

“Maybe...it’s not helping her.”

Talking to him self. His thoughts going to other plans aside from helping Seren themselves.

“Maybe she needs more specialized help..”

Cringing, shaking his head. NO! He couldn’t have her committed! It was his world’s fault that she was like this. It didn’t matter about the cost or if his normally private home was lived in by James and this girl. They had to help her.

“Master?”

“Hm?” Turning. “Oh..Gerald...come in. Welcome to my office. I think it’s the only place that Seren hasn’t figured out how to get into yet.”

“Are you alright, sir? You seem..stressed beyond your usual levels.”

“Are we doing right by her, Gerald? That girl...Seren. Are we helping her? Or are we just hurting her by indulging these ..personalities?”

“At first, Master, I thought we were hurting her. Treating her like a chid? Talking to her like one? But Master James pointed something out to me about all of that. I kept finding cookie crumbs in her bed and I would grumble about it. I also kept finding crumbs on the floor and table. I started to ignore it until James Pulled me aside and showed me what she was doing in the living room one day. It’s child like, yes but it’s human. She was purposefully crumbling cookies on the couch for me to find.” He chuckled. “He explained that it was her way of reaching out and opening up to me. So I found a common connection with her through cookies. And I know it all sounds..odd but..She is improving.”

“Besides the..clothing issues, right?”

“Yes sir. Caballo still seems to have control over those thought processes.”

“So how many personalities does she have? And do you think..a medication might help her?”

“No sir. No Medication. It would ..dumb her down.”

“Okay..no Medication. So how about the other question, Gerald?”

“Three..that we know of. Little Seren..Caballo and Big Seren. There are definitely times when you can see her brain firing and see her thinking. She is still in there. We just have to get her out.” Hming. “But sir..This is more than..worry about the girl. I know you. There is something else on your mind.”

“Yes. Yes there is.” Sighing and looking outside his window. “Have things been..pretty quiet here that you know of?”

“Yes sir. There is the usual morning excitement of chasing the horses down and of course..Miss Seren’s antics but..Yes. No trouble, not really. Why? Is there a problem?”

“I have a strong suspicion that Giovanni knows she and James are here. It’s only a matter of time..before he shows.”

“I see, sir. In that case, I shall have the security systems double checked all around the property.”

“Yes. That is a good idea.” Nodding. “Also..I need you to..call my own stallions up and tell them that their vacation in their little resort is being extended if they want to stay. If they have outside duties like jobs to attend and what not, that is fine too but..I don’t want them returning here until we get our little Seren taken care of. I don’t think that seeing people act like ponies would help her any.”

“It probably wouldn’t, Master. I shall call them immediately.”

“Gerald..”

“Yes sir?” The butler stopped at the door. “Do you need anything, sir?”

“Could you ask Diana to come and speak with me?”

“I will, sir.” Nodding, taking his leave.

The Butler hummed and made his way to the back yard where everyone was sitting at the pool. Seren was playing on a floaty blow up duck and James was pulling her about in the water. She had a bathing suit on at least. Gerald was happy to see that.

“Hi!” Seren laughed. “You gonna swim, Gerald?”

“Not right now, Miss Seren. I have actually come to see Miss Diana.”

“What is it, Gerald?” Diana sat up from her lounge chair. “Is something wrong?”

“Don’t sit up so fast, love.” Drake smiled. “You need to think about the baby.”

“The baby is fine.” Chuckling. “Anyways..What is it, Gerald?”

“Master Chad would to have a word with you in his office.” The Butler replied.

“Office?” Seren blinked. “I didn’t know he had an office.”

Acking, laughing. Seren was suddenly pounced in the water by James to distract her attention. Drake chuckled at the two of them.

“I can watch these two. Don’t worry, love.”

“Thank you, Drake.” Leaning over, kissing him. “Mmm..You are so sweet to me.” Diana then turned and headed for the inside. “I shall return.”

“Hmm.” Seren watched Diana and Drake kiss many times. “James?”

“Yes?” Holding her up in the water. “Want to go back into shallow water?”

“No..” She leaned up and kissed him suddenly.

James nearly dropped her but quickly righted him self and gabbed the side of the pool with his free hand. Seren giggled and kept kissing him. James finally returned the kiss. He couldn’t help it! Her legs around him. Her arms around him. He had wanted to do this for..forever!

“Ohhh..” Drake chuckled. “Someone’s been watching Diana and me..I think.” He whispered.

“Mmm....” James cood.

James deepened the kiss and shifted to slightly shallower water while he kissed her. Both his arms wrapping around her. Seren blushed and giggled as he kissed her. Her back was against the pool side as he did.

Drake suddenly thought he should have gone inside with Diana. Seren pulled away from the kiss slowly. Her breaths a little heavier.

“Did you like it, James?”

“Yes..I did..” He whispered.

“When we move our on our own together..will you kiss me more?” Her forehead touching his. “Like How..Diana and Mr. Drake kiss?”

“Do you really want that, Seren?” James asked. “To live with me..as Seren? Just you and me?”

“Yeah.” Nodding. “I do.” The girl smiled. “Can we have a big dog too? So we can love him..and he can protect our yard?”

James chuckled and nodded. He quickly kissed her again. This was definitely the Big Seren talking.

“Oh my..” Diana came back out. It was a quick little conversation. “Ohhh..I leave for a few minutes and..they are kissing.”

“I think we somehow inspired her, love.” Drake patted the chair beside him. “Umbrella is up, fan is on. Come join me again?”

“Spoiling me, aren’t you?” Diana glanced at the kissing couple. “Wow..Long kiss.” Said as she walked back over to her chair.

“What did your cousin want, hm?”

“He wanted to know if I would take Seren shopping tomorrow. You know..just to see how..she would react in a..more crowded environment.”

“I like that.” Seren whispered to James. She wasn’t even hearing the conversation behind her. “Did you?”

“Oh yeah..” James grinned. “And I think..I heard someone mention shopping.”

“What?” Seren looked up. “Who?”

“Me.” Diana raised her hand. “Chad thought you would like to go tomorrow..with me.”

“I...go out..with other people?” Seren looked away and hugged James tighter. “I don’t know.”

“Shh..” James shook his head at Diana. “It’s alright, Seren. You can just think about it..okay?” Holding her against him protectively. “Maybe get some..new pretty clothes for your self.”

Seren whimpered and laid her cheek against his shoulder. James sighed and let his fingers brush through her beautiful curls. It was such a slow and hard process with her. Diana leaned back on her chair and let James handle things. If anyone could convince her to go, James could.
