Chapter I

The big, black, luxurious limo sped along, snaking its way through the winding country road.

Where were they? Reiko wasn't sure and I suppose didn't really care. She knew the destination and that was all that really mattered. Rice paddies were to the left and right of the vehicle she noticed as she gazed out the window.

Her father sat next to her, a proud, well-suited and manicured man. Their family was very wealthy, but wealth would play no part in Reiko's future, now that she had turned eighteen. She sat silently in obedience to her father's wishes. His well tailored suit gave him the look, no the arrogance, of royalty.

On the other hand Reiko sat next to him naked, except for the black body paint that had been applied to her exquisite skin. Before departure her father's servants had taken the initial steps to prepare her for the destination of this journey, The Royal Academy of Human Equine.

The actual preparations had begun two years previously, it was just that Reiko didn't know this was the reason for those preparations at the time. Those exercises she thought so funny had a purpose, a purpose that would influence the rest of her life.

She glanced at the mirror in front and caught a glimpse of her present state. Her body had been completely painted black, except for a white star that covered her forehead and a part of her face. The body paint looked really fabulous on her maturing curves and crevices. Her behind was somewhat uncomfortable though, as father had instructed the house servants to insert a plug with horsehair attached into one of her highly sensitive and delicate crevices. She had a clear understanding from her father as to why this would be done, but never-the-less it was a cause for discomfort. He had also explained that it was a duty, an honor, and perhaps the proudest moment in her young life. The family honor was to be secured by Reiko and she was not to disappoint. Ponygirl Reiko was to be given a new name and a new life, a life she surely did not understand at this very moment in the car, but she could never give father reason to show disfavor with her. It was simply not in her genes.

Reiko knew the two years in the academy would make her surrender her humanity and start life anew in the stable of some owner that desired her. She felt a growing anticipation, a strange new excitement about the days and weeks ahead. She would not need to speak again after arriving at the academy, actually, they forbade it. Thoughts crossed her mind about what it might be like to communicate with someone using only expression.

Soon, they would arrive and some questions would be answered and some questions would newly surface. She relaxed, temporarily lost in self-absorbed thought. The relaxation gave way to a gentle sleep and dreams of the possibilities...
