Chapter Fifteen

Upon her return from Glynda’s Cynda quickly learned that there would be no let up in her training just because she had missed a sizable portion of sleep the night before. As soon as she arrived back at Randor’s, along with Katryn, Lyra and Madi, she was light harnessed and hitched to a sulky and spent the day pulling it and one of the handlers around the track being run hard a good portion of the time. The stamina for running of all four girl’s had increased many times over since their training had begun. By the end of the day Cynda was, indeed, ready to rest, and for once did not really look forward to being ridden bareback by Rolf in what had become their evening ritual.

That evening, after pacing tiredly around the grounds for almost a half hour with Rolf on her back, Cynda was returned to the stable and put in her stall for the night. Before going to sleep she shared her previous night’s experience with the other three girls who had been waiting in their stalls to hear what had happened. Admittedly she did enjoy, somewhat, the envy that was obvious in their voices as she talked about Lindo. Her position of exclusivity did not last long, however, as the very next day Lyra and Madi performed almost flawlessly drawing a buggy as a team with Latkin driving. That evening, after being cleaned up and fed, Latkin and Prindor showed up on Berin and Lacie, snapped leads to Lyra’s and Madi’s collars and rode off leading the sisters who did not return until the next morning.

For a time only little Katryn did not receive the reward of release from the pressures she was feeling more intensely every day. She had continued her contest of wills with Randor by often resisting whatever he wanted to do unless he stared her down. Only then would she comply and only after shaking her head as though telling him that her obedience had been her choice, not his. Although Randor enjoyed the challenge of Little Red’s feisty personality and the memories of a young Vixin that surfaced, in some regards it was beginning to wear thin.

Randor was becoming particularly irritated by the fact that so far, Little Red would only allow him to bridle her. It was generally Ani who came in the morning to take her out to relieve herself, and the little filly behaved herself quite well for the young handler until it came time to put her bridle on. Then she would become very agitated, stamping her feet, turning away and refusing to kneel. Then, on those days when Ani could get her on her knees, she would turn her head away and refuse to open her mouth for the bit no matter what Ani tried. On several occasions Latkin had tried bridling Little Red and got the same response. Strangely enough, though, once bridled by Randor, Katryn stopped her resistance and didn’t fight being saddled or harnessed for her day’s training.

Not allowing herself to be bridled by anyone but Randor was, obviously, an area where Katryn had decided to “draw her line”. At first Randor found this amusing as Vixin had exhibited similar behavior some twenty years ago. Now, the fact that he had to come to the stable twice a day to bridle this ornery filly was becoming quite a nuisance as he had entirely too many other demands on his time.

Following their capture and arrival at Randor’s, Katryn, Cynda Madi and Lyra had spent their first month in stable number one separated from all the other girls. Toward the end of their second month, they were moved to stable number two. This stable was used to house girls with two to three months of training none of which, with the unusual exception of Cynda, had yet been ridden. After the elves left them in their stalls for the night the four would converse with the other girls in the stable all of whom were farther along in their training. Cynda, of course, was questioned regularly in these sessions by all of the girls in the stable as to how being ridden actually felt. As they got to know these “two and three month” girls, Katryn and her friends began learning much more about what went on in Randor’s training facility and what was in store for them.

When Katryn and her friends had been moved out of stable one, they were almost immediately replaced there by six new “wild” girls. All of the new “wild” girls, of course, received considerable personal attention from Randor and his top trainers to make sure that each girl’s training got off to the right start. Although five of these girls were all progressing very smoothly one, in particular, was putting a great demand on his and Latkin’s time. This one was the “Exotic” that the Trader Elle had spoken to Glynda about a couple of months before.

The training for all the girls at the facility began with relief followed by feeding and grooming which normally occurred simultaneously. They would then be taken to the carousels for a good warm up run lasting at least a half hour then returned to their respective stables to be appropriately tacked out for what ever their day’s training included. As all the girls progressed more and more of the daily training was actually being done by handlers rather than the more experienced trainers. By the second month Katryn had built something of a bond with the handler, Ani who was now handling her more and more. With the exception of being bridled, Katryn responded well to Ani’s care and, except for a few other acts of mild rebellion, was really progressing quite well.

Cynda’s training was still being handled almost exclusively by Rolf as she was the young trainer’s first charge since his promotion. Randor wanted him to get the full experience of training a girl so that he would understand each phase of the process which resulted in turning a “wild” girl into an obedient saddle girl that an elf could trust. Randor and Latkin carefully observed the young elf’s progress and were both impressed and convinced that the decision to promote him to trainer had been correct. With the other three girls, Randor, Latkin and Prindor were spending less time in order to concentrate on getting the training of the five “wild girls” and the one exotic off to a good start. Latkin, though, did somehow seem to find a bit of time to spend working with the two sisters as a matched team and with Lyra in particular.

Randor still admired the spirit of Little Red, and made sure that he worked with her himself whenever he had the time. However, having to drop whatever he was doing twice a day to come and bridle her finally reached the point where he decided that it had to stop. He still did not want to resort to force or the whip in order to get Little Red to accept being bridled by elves other than him, and he discussed his dilemma with Glynda who seemed to consider it no problem at all.

Glynda could easily tell that Little Red’s sexual needs had reached the point where they were definitely causing her considerable discomfort. To make matters worse, she had no choice but to listen to the other girls in the stable brag about their times with Glynda’s stallions which, of course, only heightened Katryn’s discomfort. After watching the filly’s “body language” for a bit, Glynda knew that this girl would do just about anything in order to be allowed relief from her needs.

In order to use sexual release as a reward for good behavior, the elves made sure that girls in training were prevented from achieving release on their own or with other girls. This was done by keeping them in security harnesses that prevented them from reaching that part of their bodies with their hands and by having no objects in their stalls that they might be able to rub against. They were also kept locked in separate stalls when stabled, and kept physically separated when being trained. Whenever their training included working closely together such as drawing loads as teams of two or more, they were fitted with devices on their harnesses that prevented any mutual physical contact in the appropriate area.

Randor knew that he held complete control over sex in the lives of all the girls he trained and he regularly used that power as a means of rewarding girls for good behavior or performance. Randor was puzzled, though, over how to get the message through to Little Red that she would get what she needed as soon as he got what he wanted which was having her allow elves other than him to bridle her.

Randor had a habit of underestimating the intelligence of girls, but Glynda rarely made the same mistake. Finally, one night over dinner at Glynda’s he again detailed the problem and asked for her help.

Glynda simply replied with complete confidence, “Leave everything to me. I’ll come by the stable tomorrow morning and take care of the problem.”

“What do you plan to do?” He asked.

“Not much, I’m really going to let Voden do all the work for me,” she chuckled.

“Voden!” Randor exclaimed with genuine concern. “Don’t you think he might be too big for her, if you know what I mean? I don’t think that she’s big enough to handle all of what he has to offer.”

“Oh, I wouldn’t worry about that,” Glynda replied. “Girls can be a lot more compliant than you might think when it comes to things like that. Also, I’ve watched how she looks at his “equipment” whenever I ride him over for a visit and that’s not fear that I see in her eyes.”

“Well, as long as you’re sure he won’t hurt her, I’d be happy if you would try,” he said. “Are you sure that you can make it tomorrow morning?”

“Tomorrow will be just fine. I’ll be there with Voden first thing,” she replied.

“That’s great, I will really be happy if it works,” he said. “Her antics are really affecting my schedule for working with the new girls, especially Elle’s Exotic. That one’s really a handful. I’m beginning to think that she can’t be tamed without being broken first.”

“If anyone can handle her it’s got to be you and Latkin,” Glynda remarked. “However, a little “breaking” may be just what she needs. But, first things first, I’ll be there in the morning and take care of your problem with Little Red.”

“Wonderful!” he said. “I’ll meet you at stable two about dawn, if that’s not too early for you.”

“Dawn’s fine, and please don’t take this the wrong way, but I think I’ll have a better chance if we keep it among just us girls,” she said with a sly smile. “Just have Ani meet me there tomorrow. She is the handler who has been working most with your Little Red, isn’t she?”

“She’s the one,” he replied. “But what is it you plan to do that you don’t want me to see?”

“It’s just a girl’s secret,” she replied. “And one I’d prefer to keep, if you don’t mind.”

“Well, alright, as long as you can get that ornery filly to quit wasting so much of my time, you can have your “girl’s secrets”, I suppose,” Randor said with a little irritation.

Glynda was quite aware of Randor’s reluctance to accept the intelligence of the girls that he trained. She, of course, didn’t consider human intelligence as being anywhere close to that of elves, but certainly knew them to be much smarter than Randor preferred to think. Unlike Randor, the using of intelligent creatures like humans for draft and saddle purposes had never really troubled Glynda any more than it did most elves. Although she exercised regularly both for her figure and to maintain the effects of the life lengthening herbs, Glynda rarely walked anywhere that she could ride.

Randor never learned exactly what occurred the next day in stable number two other than Little Red missed a day of training but never again resisted being bridled by Ani or any of the other trainers or handlers.

After her efforts with Little Red were completed, Glynda borrowed Lacie from Prindor to ride home leaving Voden behind. Lacie certainly recognized Glynda and, when the beautiful elf mounted her, quickly realized where they were likely to be going. Glynda instantly felt the power under her and knew that Stacie really wanted to run so, putting her spurs to the girl’s flanks, she gave Stacie her head and literally flew out the gate and off down the street. Elves enjoyed riding fast and Glynda enjoyed it more than most. She also loved riding Stacie whenever the opportunity arose as, not only was Stacie a truly beautiful animal, her Thoroughbred heritage meant that she was faster than most any girl in the village.

Late that afternoon, following a much slower and more relaxed ride back to Randor’s on the beautiful Palomino, Glynda returned her to Prindor saying, “No Charge. This morning’s ride was worth more than my fee would have been.”

With Lacie kneeling beside him nuzzling his chest, Prindor smiled as he stroked her lovely blond head and scratched beneath the straps of the bridle.

“Any time, Miss Glynda,” the young elf replied. “Lacie really loves being ridden by you. You’re the best rider in the village and she runs even faster for you than she does for me.”

“Well, I don’t know about that, but it’s nice of you to say, besides remember that I’m a number of pounds lighter than you are,” Glynda said. “As far as her speed goes, for me, riding Lacie is like riding the wind. She’s just a fantastic animal.”

That evening, Glynda and Randor rode together back to her place for dinner and to spend the night. She rode an obviously tired Voden and he, of course, rode Vixin who, upon noticing Voden’s less than prime condition, gave every impression of disappointment. Although Tor remained her favorite of all of Glynda’s stallions, Vixin enjoyed variety and had for some time been looking forward to a “date” with the big Ebony. She could see that tonight was not to be the night as he would scarcely be able to rise to the occasion.
